    Tasks (2000, SR1)

I have a group that wants to be able to assign tasks to individuals, but be able to update the task with new information by the individual who originally assigned the task. Of course, if you try to edit a task and you are not the owner, Outlook complains that it may be overwritten since the assigner no longer owns the task. Also Outlook won't allow you to send tasks to yourself, which would be the logical work-around.
Any suggestions as to how to get around this? We are using Exchange server 5.5, with 2000 Enterprise in the works.

If you use Exchange and public folders - with team folders - then you can do this. The code behind team folders will send the task to the owner, and will even send the update. It doesn't work without the team folder gui though.

Do Team Folders also work with Exchange 2000? We will be moving to that soon and I since it is not in production yet, I thought I would test team folders there. I can't get anywhere installing Web Folders on our E2K server. Even thought the user I am installing it under is an Enterprise Admin, it complains that it can't access the web server when I get to the Finish button. The instructions I found on Slipstick don't have enough detail for me to figure out why it doesn't work.
