    Endnotes in Word (Word2000)

In earlier versions, it was simple to make those endnote pages into 2 comumns with the separator between them. Now in 2000 I find no way to do this. Creating a table is not the same.

Try this: at the end of your document, Insert a Next Page section break, then format the new section with 2 Columns. Does this do it?

Thank you, Thank you! It definitely created the 2 columns (without the separator down the middle) but I can sure live with that. Again Thanks,

There is no line by default, but you should be able to go back into the Format Columns dialog and add it.

    Re: Endnotes in Word (Word2000)

I saw the 'line between' choice but it changes the entire book. When I fill up the present page of endnotes, I'm going to try again (what you said) make a break, then see if the following page can be set with the line.
I so so appreciate the time you have spent on this.
