import Excel to Calendar? (Office 2000 SR1)

Does anyone know how to import information from an Excel sheet into Calendar, picking up a date column and a time column? I have a dispatch sheet in Excel with bus number, driver name and spot time. I thought if I could import that into Outlook's calendar I could have reminders pop up to verify that the buses were ready on time. I'm open to any alternate suggestions.

Shohuld be able to do this. You may have issues with the format of your date/time source values. I'd create a test calendar folder to work with until it works right. Also, the Import/Export utility needs to be installed. I "think" it's not by default, but am not sure.

Go to File Menu | Import and Export.
Choose Import form another program. Next
    Choose file type Excel. Next
Browse to the source file and set options for duplicates. Next
Choose the target calendar file. Next
Put check in the actions to perform and click "Map custom fields" button. Map the source and target fields.
    Finish
