Format Date to only show Month, Day and year (2000)

    Hi,
I making a form and trying to add auto date. Access has the option of Long Date, Med Date or Short date. Well Long date will work, however, I don't want the day of the Week.

So.....how do I add an auto Date control to a form that only show Month/Day/Year?

You can select any of the "canned" formats from the list, but you can also specify your own. For example enter "mm/dd/yy" (no quotes) for 02/07/02 or "mmmm dd, yyyy" for February 7, 2002 or "dd-mmm-yy" for 07-Feb-02, etc. Search Access help for "Format Property

I hope I understand the format you want:

In the "Format" property of the control put:

    example: February 07, 2002
    mmmm dd, yyyy

If this is not what you want ... post an example of what you want.
