    Exporting multiple pages

    Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has the answer to the following: If I have a vsd files that contains multiple pages and I want to paste or export into a word document - how is it done.
I have tried inserting object, vsd file and browsing and selecting my document - however it only
put the Page-1 of the vsd file into the word document. I would like to put in all 3 pages.

    Thanks Kindly,

    Kerrie

    Re: Exporting multiple pages

    Kerrie,

    A sort of solution.

Try opening Visio on the page you want, selecting all the objects, copying them into the paste buffer and then pasting them into Word. When you click on the object in Word, it says 'Double click to Edit Visio Drawing' i.e. it has pasted it in as a Visio Drawing. There is a problem in that you lose any background, but at least you have them and you can edit them in Visio.

Works with Visio 2000 and Word 2000 on Windows 2000.

    Re: Exporting multiple pages

    Hi Sue,

Thank you for your help, that worked perfectly. Do you have any clues how to insert mutiple
page diagrams, without having to copy each page and insert individually. I suppose I am looking at it like word, "insert object" function and it will insert the entire file.
