    Database Transfer (Office 2000)

    Hello,

I have a database containing (among other things) 25 seperate tables stored on my laptop. I have another copy of the same database stored on a server. I use the server database as my main one and when on the road, copy the server version to my laptop so I can use it. On return to the office I copy the laptop version back to the server.

What i would like to do is have a command button on my main switchboard screen (this opens with an autoexec macro) that copies the entire database from one to the other so that i have the latest information easily available.

I can copy/paste easily enough but would prefer not to have to do this. I have looked at using a macro to "copy object" but this seems cumbersome.

I wonder if there is an easier way?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks...Peter

Why don't you simply use batch files ?
You can put shortcuts on your desktop to execute them.
