HELP!
Win2K's (or 98) dialling rules DON'T WORK !!
My local phone numbers are +61 (02) ####-####. (Outlook automatically configures this - so it understands!)
If I dial my office from another area code (say (03)), my pc dials 0 02 ####-####. So windows automatically adds a zero, as if the area code didn't have it already.
If I set my pc to dial from another country, it dials +61 02 ####-####.
THIS IS PLAINLY WRONG!
If I say I dial a colleague in New Zealand +64 (04) ####-#### from Oz, it dials +64 4 ####-#### as it should. THIS IS WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN FOR US TOO!
Microsoft's phone support admitted to me this was a bug 2 Years ago when I took the trouble to phone & complain. It still doesn't work in win2k 2002!
Does anyone know of a solution???
THANKS
