    I am accustomed to using append queries to append selected records from one table to another. It sounds like you are trying to append entered values (that is; your parameters) to a table with an append query. If that is the case, I'm not sure an append query does this.

    Have you considered creating a form to input the values and using VB to write those records to the table(recordset)? That is the method I typically use for this type of functionality.

    Sure an append query will do that. I often use a similar method to populate a default record in a new table. Passing specific values into the query appends a single record to the target table.

    However, without seeing the SQL arage tried, there's no way to tell what's wrong with it.
