    Font substitution (2000)

Our time and billing system creates the client statements in MS Word format. On most systems, when the statement is opened, the font is Courier New 12. On one particular system, if I open the same statement, the font is Courier New 10. I can change the font to CN 12 but that defeats the purpose. All the printer drivers are exactly the same. Can anyone be of help? Thank you.

    Re: Font substitution (2000)

    Hi Larry,

Most probably, this is a style issue. Look if the used style ("Normal"?) on the problematic machine is defined with "10 pt".

I think the default size of "Normal" changed at some time in the Word version history from 10 pt to 12 pt.
