    Adobe-like Treatment (Win98 / Office 2000)

Anyone know how to send Word / Excel / PowerPoint files as e-mail attachments, such that they can be viewed by the recipient, but cannot be forwarded, cannot be copied, cannot be printed, and (ideally) cannot be re-opened after a set date or set number of viewings? -- short of spending big bucks on the Full Adobe product.

Likewise, is it possible to put material up on a web site for viewing, under the same forwarding / copying / printing constraints, and in a way that requires the viewer to get a password before accessing the material?

    Thanks!

take a look at places like http://www.disappearing.com they use public keys (digital ids) to control who can read the files. some services are free, but generally, only the basic stuff.
