    Re-ordering taskbar items

Is anyone aware of a way of rearranging taskbar items? I know they will load from left to right in order of opening, but is there a way to change their order once opened?

    Tks.

Sadly, none that I know of. I would be willing to bet that some enterprising developer somewhere has developed an add-on utility to do this, but I don't know of one, and I can safely say that Windows doesn't have this capability built in.

Thanks for that guys. A few very handy tid-bits at that site.

My favourite has to be a little addition called PathCopyEx which will copy your current file/folder name to Clipboard from Explorer. How handy is THAT to anyone whose directory structure goes any more than a few levels deep??

Do yourself a favour and pop in to see what Mike Lin's got on offer.

Here is another one BoogieButton with drop and drag functionality on the taskbar. It'll also remember windows settings like sizes and location.

I seem to recall a post about all windows being maximized. This apps seems to do the trick but with a couple of seconds delay. To set it one should maximize the application windows first and then shift -clicking the taskbar item would let boogie button remember it as well. I guess you have to do this on at least once in every program you want launched in the max mode.

Win Xp though is not yet supported.

Jolas, thank you. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Silly how something as simple as this isn't included as standard in all versions of Windows.
