Anyone know how to seach and replace on special characters, like ^p for paragraphs, as Word does?
What are the special codes for these characters in Powerpoint??

    Re: Special Characters

Hmm - not "special characters" - more like hidden codes. (Special characters would be those that you input by means of the Alt key combination, as in Alt+0149 for a bullet). I don't think there's any construction of the type you refer to in PowerPoint.

    Special Formatting

No, not characters as such, but formatting marks.
things like paragraphs, tabs, endnote, footnote, non-breaking space, en-mark, em-mark, etc.
In Word, they are ^p for paragraph and ^t for tab.

Really useful when making mass formatting changes, like eliminating the leading space on a line, by replacing the paragraph and space with a paragraph.....
