A few days ago, my mouse pointer has been freezing up at random times while using my system (see system specs below). I have to press the reset button to reboot. Any suggestions on how I can troubleshoot this problem?

I have Windows XP Professional installed on a system with the following specifications:

>a K7VZA motherboard
>an AMD Duron 751 MHz Processor
>BIOS Version: Award Software International, Inc. 6.00 PG,
>VIA Tech components
>VIA Rev 5 or later USB Host Controller;
>VIA Bus Master IDE Controller;
>VIA Tech CPU to AGP Controller;
>VIA Tech CPU to PCI Bridge;
>VIA Tech PCI to ISA Bridge; and,
>VIA Tech Power Management Controller
>224 MB RAM

I have installed most, if not all of the Windows updates and updated many of my drivers to make sure the components are compatable with Win XP.

It feels like I'm hitting a brick wall trying to find a fix to this problem!!

Can anyone help?
