Inserting MS Access Reports (PP 2K - SR1)

Anyone know of a way to insert report data from MS Access such that you can get the whole report in a legible fashion.

The MS Access reports are 8.5 x 11 landscape and need to be copied into a powerpoint presentation. However, in print preview in Access you can only see part of the report. The report is too small when viewing the entire report to copy and paste into powerpoint. Exporting the data to MS Word works, but I lose all of the report formatting and I can paste special via the export.

    Any ideas??
    Regards,

    Gary

As you have discovered, Access and Powerpoint do not work together. You can sometimes do a screen capture and paste that on a slide, but it usually looks bad. You can export the report to RTF, but you loose a lot of formatting. The best solution is to use automation to perform the queries in Powerpoint and generate a "report" there. Microsoft's Q177270 and Q222724 provide some examples. A final solution is to use a database query in Excel to generate the report, then export this report to Powerpoint. Sorry that there is not a straight-forward method. --Sam

The results are OK. I noticed that some of the formatting seems to be misaligned, however, it is much improved then where I was. I have read and still need to try your links as well.
