    smil-file

    Hi,I,have a problem with writing a smil-file.
    I,downloaded some real media(rm)clips,there are some 6 to 7 clips in each folder.
    So,I,want to play them as one movie,so I,wrote the following smil-file:
    <smil>
    <body>
    <seq>
    <video src="(name clip 1).rm"/>
    <video scr="(name clip2).rm">
    (etc.upto clip 7).
    </seq>
    </body>
    </smil>
    And,I,saved it in the same folder as the clips are in.
    But here`s the problem,when I, dubbelclick the smil-file,Realplayer pop`s up and says "Invalid Data".
    Can anyone tell me what I`m doing wrong?

    These sites might help:

    Jeff Rule's Dynamic HTML (SMIL Demos and articles)

    SMIL with the Real SlideShow utility

    Re: smil-file

    The,smil-file is ok and there is no need to download the Real Slideshow(wich is free by the way).
    I,just used the wrong text editor (MS Word),I,should have used MS Notepad.
    So,if you have a lot of Real Media clips and you want to play them as one movie,just open MS Notepad and write the smil-file as I,wrote it above(put all the clips you want to play in sequence in it).
    Then hit "Save As"and name it "movie.smil"and put it in the same folder as your clips are in.
    The smil-file now changes in the Realplayer logo.
    Now,if you want to play the movie,you just dubbelclick the smil-file and your Realplayer pop`s up and plays the complete movie.
    That`s all there is to it.
