    You need a VBA macro such as:

    Sub Expunge()
    SendKeys "+{del}~"
    End Sub

    Note that by including the ~ at the end, this will also bypass the confirmation dialog.

    If you're unclear about how to attach a macro to a toolbar button or how to set up macros in Outlook, please post back. HTH

    I don't know how to attach macros to a toolbar. Any help you can afford will be appreciated. Thank you for your response.

    right click on toolbar, customize. Find macros in the left category list and drag the macro from the right side to the toolbar. Works in all office programs.

    You can edit the name or icon after it's on the toolbar.

    Code works perfectly. Got it assigned to a macro button. Thanks very much. If either of you are ever in my part of Texas, I'll buy you a soft drink of your choice. <img src=/S/bow.gif border=0 alt=bow width=15 height=15>
