    query criteria (access 97 sr-2)

I have a query with a time field in it. I am using access
97 sr-2. I want the query to return all the records with
times less than 8 hours. I set up the criteria as-between
00:00 and 7:59. The only problem I am having is that I get
    times for 10:00.
How do I solve this? All the other records are correct
    except for the 10:00.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I assume when you say a "time" field, you mean that you have a date/time field that only has a time component? Exactly what is SQL you are using?

I'm not sure what you are asking ... what does "records with times less than 8 hours" mean? Less than 8 hours from the current time or the difference of two time fields is less than 8 hours?
You can look up the DateAdd or DateDiff functions in Access help if you are trying to do Time math. They handle Time field calculations.
