MS Error Reporting Service for XP (Office XP)

MS is currently using an Error Reporting Service that "is supposed to" provide solutions to the end user. A serious error message appeared on my desktop, it reads as follows:

    C:WINDOWSMinidumpMini022702-04.dmp
    COCUME~2YasserLOCALS~1TempWER2.tmp.dir01sysdata.xml

This message was sent to MS-Support. Now, MS-online crash analysis replied with their initial report which basically ....doesn't say anything!

So, I am currently seeking anyone's help regarding what this error message means and what should be done.....

    Thanks,
    Yasser

Re: MS Error Reporting Service for XP (Office XP)

The purpose of Microsoft Error Reporting feature is to help them detect and fix bugs in their software.
There is no immediate help for you. More, there is some risk that your sensitive documents may be sent along with error report to Microsoft.

For more details, Office XP Error Reporting May Send Sensitive Documents to Microsoft

    Thanks kaplinb....
I decided to just shut the reporting option off.
