    Urgent! How to repair Access database (Access 97)

    I have customer i built front-end back-end database system, that have been successfully in use 3 years. (Windows server, ~10 users. ). . Today they noticed that their system is working speed is very low.
    I'm not able to open the back end database-The message is 'Operation invalid without current index' I cannot do even Repair database.
    Back-end Database size is 15Mb.

    What are the possibilities to repair the database?

    First, make sure you have a backup copy of the database. You can download JetComp.exe from Microsoft, which does a better job of repair then the built-in A97 repair, plus it allows you to repair databases that you can't even open!

    If all else fails, create a new database and try importing your tables.
