    Template Macro (Word 2000)

I have created a template of a "blank check" for our accounting department. Is there any way to write macros that will provide a pop-up box when the document opens saying "Invoice #" and allowing that number to be typed in the box, then on to "Invoice Date", "Description", etc.? It seems to me that many moons ago I had a macro like that in Word 95.

You can do this with an ASK field, a FILLIN field, a UserForm or an "online form." Pick your poison.

You can see some samples of these on my Word download page (addbalance.com/word/download/index.htm).

Thanks a bunch. This info was very helpful, as well as the web site. Haven't used the ASK field for quite awhile, but I think it will do the trick.
