Outlook Save As Default Directory (Ol 2002 SR-1)

Is it possible to change the default directory Outlook goes to when one right clicks and hits save as on an e-mail attachment?

only if you want to change it for all programs... are you using office 2000 or xp? add the prefered outlook location to the places bar. then it's only 1 click away.

I'm using Office XP, but my partner has the same issue and he is using Office 2000. I would be more than happy to have the new location be the default location for all Office programs. I already have the location set as the default location for Word to save documents.

Sounds great. Can you elaborate on how to do this? Again, whatr I want to do is, when an e-mail comes in with an attachment, be able to readily save the attachment to that default location.

    Thanks for the quick response.

In Windows 98 and 2000, if you right-click the My Documents folder on the desktop and choose Properties, you can edit the "Personal" folder. It can be a bit confusing when My Documents is no longer My Documents, but it should work. (Illustration for Windows 2000: <IMG SRC=http://www.wopr.com/w3tfiles/10-118655-MyDocs.gif>)
