Find Last number in Column (XL2002)

In a column (B3:B15) on sheet1, I will input numbers at the rate of one per month, starting at the top and not skipping any spaces. The unused spaces are blank.

In cell C2 on sheet2, I need a formula that will retrieve the last number in the column range noted above.

I know how to do this using code but that's not what I want. Can someone help with the formula I need?

    =OFFSET(Sheet1!B3,COUNTA(Sheet1!B3:B15)-1,0)

works if there are no empty cells between the last cell with numbers and B3. You get 0 if B3:B15 is empty.
