Work Menu (Office 2000)

When you have the built-in Work menu setup, how do you remove a file from its list? Note I am not talking about the recently opened files list in the File menu, but the built-in Work menu you can add with customize. Is there any way in the program itself or by editing some file, or even editing the registry to get rid of an entry?

Not the most obvious solution:

Press <Ctrl Alt Hyphen> (mouse pointer will change to a minus sign)
Open the Work menu and click the item you wish to remove

Turns out that Leif's answer of CTRL+ALT+hyphen works for both the Most Recently Used list and the Work Menu list. (The former was just mentioned a few days ago on this lounge.) Just a matter of which menu you click on once you've activated the CTRL+ALT+hyphen.

It actually works for all menu commands. So if an add-in, or an administrator, adds a menu command you don't want, zap!

Your comment makes me recall my accidental discovery of CTRL+ALT+-. I don't know what possessed me to press this combination of keys (a long time ago) but I did. And I did zap a few menu commands!
