Screen size

If I change a windows to the full-screen format then the window will be as big as my screen is.....
But is there a way to restrict the full-screen format to a specific size (maybe via changing a reg.key)?

If you are talking about the command prompt window, you could edit your AUTOEXEC.BAT and add a line such as:

MODE CON LINES=80

This will affect all DOS windows globally within Windows.

Stardock.com offers a product (DesktopX) that not only will do what you're asking but will also knock your socks off with its other customizations.
