Can't find project or library (MS Office 2000, MS Word 2000)

I need some help with MISSING references in Visual Basic.
I recorded a macro to modify a large MSWord file. I search for certain strings of characters, select them, delete them and repeat until eof. After recording the macro, I try to run it and get this message:
"Can't find project or library" and the Visual Basic editor comes up.

I reviewed help and tried to resolve the "MISSING" references as directed and found none.

Any idea how to make this macro work?
    Many thanks,

Is MS KB Article Q244788 relevant? - this indicates that a problem like this can arise after installing Norton 2000; Normal.dot gets damaged in some way and the fix is to rename Normal.dot.

(Even if you haven't installed Norton 2000, you might try replacing/renaming your Normal.dot.)

We have Norton 2000 so this may be applicable. I will give it a try and see.
    Thank you.
