Grouping contacts on the city field (2002)

I'm sure that this applies to most, if not all, versions of Outlook.

You can easily view contacts grouped by their country. How do you group them by their city or state or province?

state is one of the grouping options - then sort by city.

I've figured out the answer to my own question - How to group contacts by the City field. Here's how to do it.

    1. Go to any view of your contacts that has a list. The phone list is fine.
    2. Right click on the headers and select Field Chooser.
    3. Click on the list box that says "Frequently Used Fields" and select the second choice, Address Fields.
    4. In it you will find the City field. Drag it to the headers.
    5. Right click on the headers and select Group By Box.
    6. Drag the City field into the Group By Box.
