Mail Merge Word 2000 (Word 2000)

Doing mail merge. Two Examples for addresss. #1) 188 Main Street. #2) 111 Main Street, on second line Suit 200. The problem I'm having is a blank line is showing up on the 1st example because it is only one line. How do I get rid of the blank line from printing out.
    Help

First, you'll want to make sure second line is a separate field (something like "Address 2"). You probably already have this coded this way and your data field for "Address 2" in record 1 will be blank.

Then, in the Merge main window (after you select Merge), check the checkbox that says, "don't print blank lines when Merge Field is empty."
