    switch function/data factory (VB6)

    Hi,

I m not so skillful in VB. Is anyone there knows how to make a choice from a listbox or combo box to start one of listed VB applications? I ve got several .vbp project files and want to give users flexibility to choose one of the file/project at the startup form (similar to function of Data Factory in Java programming). Appreciate your advice and help.

    David

Assuming you can resolve the path to the .vbp from the combo box choice, and you know the path to the VB6 executable, you should be able to just Shell() it.

    e.g. Shell "C:Program FilesMicrosoft Visual StudioVB98vb6.exe Q:vbprojectsproject1.bvp"
