fire event when subform's filter is removed (97)

Is there an event that fires when the filter is removed from a subform? I am using the right-click context menu to apply a filter, and I can trap when the filter is applied. But it doesn't seem to fire when the filter is removed via the context menu or via the Records menu.

    Here's my testing code:

Private Sub Form_ApplyFilter(Cancel As Integer, ApplyType As Integer)
MsgBox "detail --- apply filter " & ApplyType
    End Sub

Private Sub Form_Filter(Cancel As Integer, FilterType As Integer)
MsgBox "detail - on filter " & FilterType
    End Sub

PS -- the Filter event never seems to fire -- I don't understand its function. When does it get fired as opposed to the ApplyFilter event?

    Thanks

Figured it out - the ApplyFilter event fires in the main form, not in the subform. Also, the Filter event pertains to opening the dialog box for creating filters -- not the actual event of applying the filter.
