    Autocorrect (2002)

I was trying to enter 'AHr' into a cell, but it was being auto-corrected to 'Ahr'.
Tools > AutoCorrect Options... simply opens up a 'Basic Search' panel on the right.
Where has my AutoCorrect configuration disappeared to?

(I managed to sort it by adding it to the exclusion list in Word 2002, closing and re-opening Excel. I assume they share the same AutoCorrect list...?)

    Re: Autocorrect (2002)

I have just checked my version of Excel 2002 and the Tools>AutoCorrect Options... includes the relevant option to correct this, viz one of the options on the AutoCorrect tab is Correct TWo INitial CApitals.
It includes virtually all of the options shown on the Word AutoComplete tab. It sounds like there is something wrong with your setup
