Using Variables in Strings

A2k (9.0.3821) SR-1

Having problem wrapping the second line with proper delimiter character

strSQL = strSQL & "tblContractor.strLicenseNo, tblContractor.strBusinessAddr1, "

strSQL = strSQL & "[strBusinessCity] & " " & [strBusinessState] & " " & [strBusinessZip] AS CityStZip, "

strSQL = strSQL & "tblContractor.strBusinessWorkPhone, tblContractor.strInsuranceCo, "

Any syntax help would be appreciated

I'm unclear as to what you are trying to do here. Could you show what you want the final value of SQL to look like?

I think u want it like this:
strSQL = strSQL & "[strBusinessCity] & ' " & [strBusinessState] & " ' & [strBusinessZip] AS CityStZip, "

where there's an extra space in there for visibility.

I have found the vba String tool quite useful in this area (comes with axp dev version)
