dir permissions in XP Prof (Win XP Professional)

I'm unable to find how to set permissions on directories in Win XP Professional. In NT and Win 2000 Professional you just right click a folder, select sharing and you can define permissions.

In XP when you right click and select sharing the only choice seems to be to give the entire network access or not. This is ridiculous! Where the heck did MS hide these settings?

You need to disable Simple File Sharing. You can find this under Tools -- Folder Options. All done in the name of protecting the user from him/herslef! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
