    hidden macro (Office 2000)

I created an Excel worksheet and tried, unsuccessfully, to create a macro. I thought I erased it, but each time I open the sheet, it asks whether to enable the macro. I can't find the macro to delete it.

    Re: hidden macro (Office 2000)

    Hi,
In the VBEditor (Alt+f11 to open it) are there any modules showing in the workbook's project? If so, delete them by right-clicking on them and choosing Remove module. If not, try double-clicking on the ThisWorkbook object and on each worksheet to bring up the codemodule for each and make sure there's nothing in any of them.
If that doesn't cure it please repost and, if possible, attach a copy of your workbook.
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,
