    Formula that changes if row is hidden (Excel 97)

    Hi
    can anyone help me I require a formula that if the chosen cell is in a row that is hidden the formula returns true. I really require a formula for this function as I require the formula to be in a number of different cells and some will be hidden and some will not.
    For example =IF(Row3=hidden,True,false) or =IF(C3=hidden,True,false) These does not work?
    Any help would be much appreicated.
    Thanks

    You can use the User Defined Function below to display True or False if the row containing the cell passed is or is not hidden. Unfortunately, this function will not automatically update when the row is hidden/unhidden.

    <pre>Public Function IsHidden(oCell As Range) As Boolean
    IsHidden = oCell.EntireRow.Hidden
    End Function
    </pre>
