    Mail Options (6.0)

I use an e-mail program that is not on the "list" provided in the options under Tools -> Internet Options -> Programs -> E-Mail. Is there any way that I can add my program to that list so I can set it as the default e-mail program? It only lists, Hotmail, Outlook Express and Outlook and I see no Add, Edit, Delete, etc. buttons to push as there are in so many other places.

    Re: Mail Options (6.0)

I just looked at it now and the options do not help me. I have set my e-mail program (First Class Client by Centrinity www.centrinity.com) manually as the default e-mail server but sometimes, when I click on a mail link in IE it directs me to Hotmail and sometimes it directs me to Outlook Express. Under Tools-> ... etc. It lists Hotmail first. So I would understand that. But why it sends me, on occasion, to Outlook Express, is beyond me. It's not a big deal. I just cut and paste the e-mail address into my program, but I was just wondering.

Are you saying you have specifically set the URL:MailTo Protocol in Explorer File types to your client of choice?
