    Word 97 - Numbered paragraphs

On some occasions when creating a long letter in Word 97 where numbered paragraphs have been used and extend over a number of pages, the first page will print fine but all subsequent pages print out as strange characters and symbols. Generally we are using HP Laserjet 4000 printers with paper feeders attached.

I suspect that the problem is with Word's numbering system (which is tied into its bullets system), a corrupted document, and problems with your template.
