    Rule for DL (2002)

I have a rule set up to move certain sent items to a specific folder based on the recipient(s).
If I try and add a personal distribution list to the rule, OL tells me this can not be done, but the individual recipients can be.
However, the rule does not seem to be able to extract the recipients from the list when the mail is sent, and so a copy is not moved to the specified folder.

I can only find one KB article:
OL2002: Messages Disappear From Your Inbox When You Add a New Rule for a Distribution List (Q289914)
but I honestly can't get my head round this one at all. How can you send 'from' rather than'to' a DL?

If you're on Exchange 5+ you can't. You have to have a recipient with a mailbox to send "from" and DLs don't. I don't know if this can be done in Exchange 2000.
