    Booklet (97, 2000)

Does Word 97 / 2000 have a "print as booklet" feature? Where? "Booklet" yields nothing useful in the help index. Where do I find instructions on the best way to lay out (structure the code of) a document that is intended to be printed as a booklet? I'm trying to do a church service leaflet.

"Print as booklet" is a feature to print landscape pages, each page formatted as two logical pages, left - right, so that the printed job can then be run through a copier and the output folded into a booklet so that the pages are in the correct order in the booklet.

    Hi
Word 2000 does this pretty well. In File Page Setup in Paper Size choose landscape and in Margins tick "2 pages per sheet"

    Re: Booklet (97, 2000)

Neither Word 2000 nor Word 97 has the capability to automatically produce foldover booklets with the pages in the correct order, after folding. I have read that Word 2002 does have this capability, but I have not tried it myself. If you don't mind a little work, you can create your own document using linked text boxes. That's how I did it. Another option is Click books at http://www.bluesquirrel.com/clickbook/ where they sell a program to do this. Good Luck. ....J.Till

Take a look at Booklet Printing on the MVP website. Word 97 won't do it without major help, Word 2000 limps into it.
