    Excel97 VBA (Excel97 )

I have an Excel application that I do not want users to be able to bypass macros, particularly AutoOpen. Can anyone tell me how to prevent users from opening the workbook without Macros enabled?

You can not prevent a user from opening a workbook without macros enabled, but for an idea of how to encourage users to enable macros download the enable macro file. This is from the useful site Ozgrid

Good pointer! There are some useful examples in several parts of the site about speeding up code.
