Text and Graphic on a Control Button (97 SR2)

How can I get a graphic AND text on a control button I am creating. I tried using a label, but it disappears behind the button when I go to a new record. I can't find any grouping option.

If you're talking about command buttons, you can't. However, the Unbound object frame control has a click event, so you could create a graphic incorporating text and an image, use that in an unbound object frame, and make it respond like a button.

Just another idea ... I create a button with the graphic and then use a label to display the text. I select the button and on the toolbar click Format/Send to Back (or select the label and click Format/Bring to Front). If you size the button and label appropriately, so that the user is clicking the button (not the label), it works.
