    quiz template (97)

I'd like to create a quiz with multiple choice questions where to answer the questions the user can tick check boxes, and at the end have a score calculated. Probably needs VB- anyone got any template or example spreadsheet they can attach?

Yes the attached file could certainly be adapted for use. I'd have to create a "your score is" bit onto sheet 1, but that wouldn't be too difficult.

However I was hoping for something with radio buttons on a form if possible?

That sure is possible, but requires VBA programming. Not impossible, but beyond my current amount of free time <smile>.

When do you need this done by? I am coming up on some free time and I would be willing to help you get started.

Also where are you going to get the questions / answers from? This lounge sure has some great ideas.

    Re: quiz template (97)

Here is a quiz on quality: 10 questions with multiple choice answers. At the end, the score is calculated and depending on the score, a message is given to the participant. The code is not optimal, but the full quiz takes more than 100kB.
When you start the file, the message 'this files contains macros...." should be answered with yes and then the quiz launches itself (actually some code is in the workbook_open event). Pressing ctrl+break allows you to enter the code. However, one of the first lines of the code is Application.Visible = false. So, if you want to see somthing, you'd best write a small macro saying Application.Visible = true to really have access to the code.
I suggest to first run the complete quiz, to see what it actually does. Then you can try to enter the code, via ctrl+break and make the application visible. The questions and multiple answers are in a hidden sheet. I hope the code is readable, as I often use Dutch words for my variables.
    Hope this helps you starting.

No, definitely not. You scored far above average. You know, most people needed my course. None has won the bottle of champagne.
A small adaptation of this quiz was to automatically send an email with the scores back from the user to me. Kind of "big brother" ....
