Re: If And Hours and Minutes (XP)

What you're probably looking for in "C2" (and below) is:

    =IF((B2-A2)>0.5,(B2-A2)-twelve_hour_lunch,(B2-A2)-lunch)

Despite all the formatting, Excel is still seeing 12 hours as 0.5 days.

In cell C2 =B2-A2-IF((B2-A2)>=0.5,twelve_hour_lunch,lunch), copy down.

If And Hours and Minutes (XP)

I thought I asked all the questions Friday - nope.
Now I need to write a formula that looks at an [h]:mm result and if the answer is more than 12 hours, subtract 1 hour for lunch instead of 30 minutes.

    Thanks in advance.
