link access with Quickbooks 2001 pro (2002)

I would like to either link or import my quickbooks 2001 data with access 2002. I have no idea if it is possible. Has anyone successfully succeeded in this? The extension is .iif for quickbooks.

    Thanks for any imput!

I don't think Access recognizes the .iif format. You might have more luck exporting your Quickbooks info to a delimited text file. However, I understand that there is a new SDK for QuickBooks, that enhances your ability to link QuickBooks to other applications. Check the Intuit site for details.

I know you can force the exports to be .txt by entering it along with the file name... it's still not very elegant...
