Build Access 97 frontend? (MS Office 97)

Is it possible to build a "front end" in VB6 that will show two options - Account Serivces and Grizzard. In these folders I want it to list all the reports that we have built in MS Access97. Then by hitting a button it will run the "Macro" (ask the Client name, start date & end date) then print out the report.

Yes, it is possible, although you can't use Access reports in that context. You have to design new reports in VB6 using Crystal Reports or one of the other tools. Have you considered creating an Access front-end database which links to the tables in your Access97 database? I think you will find it is much less work.

I presume this related to a similar post in the Access forum about restricting users to only being able to print certain reports. We may want to combine this with the other thread.

Here's the link to the related thread in Access. Let's keep any further replies in that thread.
