User Profiles for varying network environments (5.1)

Is there a way to set up User Accounts/Profiles to accommodate varying Network Environments.
I currently use a Notebook to Logon to the Domain based network at the office
I have a peer to peer network at home
When traveling I use Dial-up networking to logon to the office

I currently alter the settings to suit each environment, a chore I am getting fed up with.
Is there a way to accommodate this
Anyones advice would be gratefully appreciated

Re: User Profiles for varying network environments (5.1)

    Use different Hardware Profiles.

On your keyboard, press Windows key and Pause/Break key simultaneously (or Start | Control Panel | Performance and Maintenance | System), then click Hardware tab and Hardware Profiles button. To add a new profile, click Copy button. Then boot in each location to different profile and change settings. Next time you will have different settings for different profiles (locations).
