    Two-Line Caption on a CommandButton

I have an ActiveX command button on a Word page. I want the button to have the caption "Show Direction & Distance" on two lines, with the break before the ampersand.

The button is too wide to force a break by setting WordWrap to True in Properties. There's no MultiLine option, and SHIFT+ENTER doesn't work.

Is it possible to put a return in a caption in this situation?

    Thanks in advance, George

Re: Two-Line Caption on a CommandButton

    Hi,

The following is a hack, but appears to work fine:

Just add a whole bunch of spaces before the ampersand. It will appear to be doing the wrong thing, but just keep adding in the spaces until the ampersand jumps to the next line - at which point everything will appear correctly centered, and on two lines.
