    Which file is missing? (O2002 / O98)

I'm migrating my files, data, settings, etc. from my old Win98SE laptop to my new XP Pro laptop. Everything's gone a lot more smoothly than I feared. My Outlook 98 files came over whole -- except that I seem to be missing the unlying "address book." I notice it's loss when I try to count on Outlook 2002 to "translate" a name like "Joe S" into an address like jose.sierra@somewhere.com. When I look for the "address book" equivalent to a Contacts entry, it's not there.

If I could figure out the name of the file, it wouldn't be too difficult to transfer it over, but all I don't know what I'm looking for on the old machine. Can someone tell me what it is? Thanks.

    Jim

first, right click on the contacts folder and check properties, outlook address book. see if it's checked, if not, check it and it should be ok.

That was way too simple. Thanks!

    Mary,

No, wait -- it WAS too simple. The underlying Address Book still isn't there. I still think I need to migrate that file, but I don't know under what name I should search for it. Any ideas?
