Generic Text printer - default margins
I recently wanted (Win98SE/Access97/SR2) to analyse the data from the analysis tool, decided to print it to a Generic Text Printer and then suck the PRN file into Word (where I could set it as a table and do some documentation).
To my surprise/horror I was missing digits from the right hand side of the report.
In the end I stumbled across (in Access97SR2) File, Print, (generic text printer), Properties, Paper, Unprintable Area and found that the defaults were set at zero (top, bottom, left, right). Setting each of these to 1000 thousandths of an inch restored my sanity.
I can't ever recall being tripped up by a Generic Text Printer before. Is this behavoiour unique to Access?
