    Password (Access 97 SR-1)

I am trying to lockup a db and I am having problems. I did put a password on the DB but now what happens is every time I open any access 97 Db I have to use that password. This particular DB is a one time shot and only to be viewed. Can you help me with this?

You could convert it to a .mde file which will prevent any changes to the code and form etc design. It depends on what bits you want to lock. If this will suffice - go to Tools, Database utilities,Make MDE file.

Seems like you have set a password for the Admin User.
A database password is set in Tools | Security | Set Database Password. This will be only for this database.
If you have use Tools | Security | User And Groups Accounts and changed the password in the Change Logon Password, you change the password for the user Admin for all databases.
