    AppActivate with Startup Switches? (VB6)

    In VB6, I'm trying to launch the Proflwiz.exe using a command line setting to restore a file (e.g., "crogram files...proflwiz.exe /r c:tempsettings.ops"). i've been able to use AppActivate to launch the program, but i can't seem to get it to accept the command-line switch. (I've truncated paths here for clarity in reading; the full paths are specified in actual code).

    AppId = Shell("C:Program Files...Proflwiz.exe r/ C:...settings.ops")
    AppActivate AppId

    On the AppId line, a dialog appears listing the command line switch options and the code continues to run, but the desired AppActivate action does not run. any suggestions? Or is what I'm trying to do even possible? is there another command that could do this trick? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Looks like a typo to me.

    Shouldn't that be /r ?

    Hubert, baby, get up, man. No need to prostrate yourself over a silly little mistake. Of course, you're thinking we all think you're a bozo -- but that is WRONG thinking, my friend. Everybody makes a typo, or forgets a switch or whatever.

    You were just looking at that line too long and needed somebody else to take a look. You're ok. Glad to be of assistance.
